Stop and remain stopped until the children have crossed.
What it means in practice
Adult and junior school wardens are entitled by law to stop traffic. You must stay stopped until the children have crossed, the sign is lowered and the wardens have returned to the footpath. Failure to stop carries a 160 euro fixed charge and 2 penalty points.
