A free TheoryLane account gives you 181 original practice questions spread across all 20 topics, every one of the 119 road signs, full explanations with sources, Smart Revision, and a complete mock test every day. Nothing about how the app teaches is held back — Pro adds more of the same material and removes the daily cap on mock tests.

Pro is not on sale yet
The price will be €6.99 once, but there is no checkout, no card form and no trial to cancel yet. Pro accounts exist so the remaining 545 questions can be released when the plan launches. Until then, keep studying on the free plan — it is a complete preparation tool on its own.
What the free plan is not
• Not a stripped-back demo. All 20 topics are represented, with a spread of easy, medium and hard questions in each.
• Not time-limited. It does not expire and it does not turn into a trial.
• Not ad-supported, and it does not sell your answers. See the privacy notice.
• Not the official test. TheoryLane is independent practice material written from published Irish road-rule sources.
Why the mock test is capped, and practice is not
A mock test measures where you are; it does not teach you anything on its own. Repeating full papers back to back mostly teaches you the papers. One a day, with the day in between spent on the questions you got wrong, is closer to how the material actually sticks — so the cap is also the advice we would give you anyway.
